When I first started out in doing graphic design, I thought, yea sure why not I'll do a logo just for your business.
But the years went by as I started understanding a logo isn't just all that's there.
It's a brand.
A brand is more than just a logo. A logo is just an element that is apart of your brand.
Your brand consists of your vision, mission, values + positioning statement and more.
It's not just about a cute logo.
It's so much more.
When it comes to booking clients, I always want to know what they undertand a brand to be. Not just a logo. I try my best to educate my clients kindly, that I don't just do logos. That logos aren't just it. Those who just do logos, are missing the bigger picture of branding.
Branding requires consistency and clear communication to execute your purpose and keep your target audience alive. If you don't know where you're going, your target audience won't understand the message you're trying to convey.
When I do a logo, I consider the text, color pallete, shapes and other elements that will make up your complete brand.
So doing just a logo? It's not in my services.
Branding is an investment. And you've got to be willing to go the full mark to create better business/brand awareness and get yourself out there.
