Dear Friend,
I understand that the thought of the end times can be daunting and even frightening. It’s a topic that many of us tend to avoid, not because we don’t believe, but perhaps because it’s difficult to comprehend or we may not feel ready.
However, I want to remind you of the peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that comes from our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in John 14:27 NKJV, “  Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
The Second Coming of Christ should not be a cause for fear, but rather a source of hope and anticipation. It’s a promise from God, a promise that He will return for His people. And God, in His infinite wisdom and unchanging nature, is faithful to keep His promises.
Remember the words in 2 Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [a]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” This verse reassures us of God’s love and His desire for all to come to know Him.
So instead of fear, let’s embrace faith. Let’s live our lives in a way that is pleasing to God, loving others as He has loved us, and spreading the good news of His salvation. Let’s be ready, not out of fear of the end times, but out of love for our Lord who promises us eternal life with Him.
In these times, let’s hold onto the peace that Jesus offers us and remember His words in John 16:33, “ These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
May this letter bring comfort to your heart and remind you of the peace that comes from knowing Christ. Remember, He is with us always, even until the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
In Christ’s Love,
Julie Caywood
